As the US celebrates a day of thanks this month with the traditional feast, we’ve put together a healthy list of webinars across small law, large law and corporate counsel segments.
It’s a different type of feast, an information feast, and one that one won’t leave you feeling lethargic. Second helpings, in the form of recordings, are usually sent out to registrants that couldn’t make the live sessions, so if your calendar is full the day of the event, register anyway.
Webinars for November range from a very promising session on hanging out a law firm shingle, which is CLE eligible – to an “investigative approach to eDiscovery.” All of these events will wrap up long before the holiday weekend to ensure everyone can get a head start.
Here’s the monthly line up of events:
1. Law Firm Startup: Hanging Your Shingle and Starting a New Law Firm (CLE*)
Your new firm is an open door to exciting new opportunities. But chances are, you’re also overwhelmed with the many choices you have to make RIGHT NOW. Which type of law-related software is essential, optional, or unnecessary? Where’s the low-hanging fruit, and where’s the quicksand? Whether you’re about to start a firm, or have already opened, this session will be a boon to your practice. The presenters have vast, hands-on experience helping other small firm lawyers learn to streamline common office workflows, uncover new powers hidden in every computer and be more successful. (CLE is approved or in the process of approval for 60 minutes of CLE credit. The type of credit requested is General, but the credit allowed will be determined by the state governing MCLE board.)
