BTI Consulting estimated that corporate legal spending for IP litigation neared $3 billion dollars in 2014. “The typical larger company is expecting 44 more substantive matters than 2013, with increases taking place across almost all major fronts,” according to an blog post by the consulting firm.
How is that money being spent? A new analysis by the CounselLink® team – the Enterprise Legal Management Trends Report – provides insight into how that money is being spent by law firm size. The largest of a law firms are winning in this lucrative market:
- 61% with law firms with 750 or more attorneys
- 6% with law firms with between 501-750 attorneys
- 3% with law firms with between 201-500 attorneys
