The LexisNexis software division added two new executives to the leadership team and it is looking to add two more VPs – along with the some 70 positions currently open.
As an announcement published to PRWeb this morning noted:
Mark Huebeler has joined the software division as the unit’s chief financial officer (CFO) and Alex Withers joined as vice president of Marketing. The division, based in Raleigh, NC, is also actively seeking to fill two additional executive positions: a vice president of Strategy and vice president of Continuous Improvement.
In an article posted to the Triangle Business Journal – LexisNexis grows in Raleigh; hires software CFO, 75 open positions – tech reporter Lauren K. Ohnesorge noted:
The company, which runs its software business from Raleigh, has been putting greater emphasis on its Triangle operations of late. In 2014, litigation software and managed technology services were added to Raleigh’s jurisdiction, which previously just housed Lexis’ Business of Law portfolio. Other divisions are sending satellite offices to the Raleigh facility, leading to a build out of the first floor.
Where are we headed with all this and what does it mean for legal software customers? LexisNexis continues to build out a Software Center of Excellence in Raleigh, which in many ways is based on some principles our leadership team published a couple years ago in in the Legal Software Bill of Rights (Read a PDF version of the philosophy here).
